This necklace features a lovely piece of stone stack iron furnace slag that is set in silver and placed onto a handmade Sterling branch complete with caterpillar. I find the slag in a local river by a historical iron furnace (one of seven still standing!) but it could have come from countless other historical iron furnace sites across North America and Europe. The focal point measures 2 1/2" wide x 2" tall, and the total length of the necklace is 19".
