The White Admiral Butterfly, Limenitis arthemis, is a butterfly that is found in many parts of North America. It is actually the northern presentation of the species, the southern one being the Red-Spotted Purple, another favorite that I make, also. In areas where they overlap, various hybrids are common. Both butterflies are a joy to encounter. These earrings measure almost 1" wide by 1" tall, not including the Sterling earring wires. They are fabricated out of Sterling and lacquered jeweler's brass and carefully hand-painted. They are light and comfortable to wear and make great gifts!
