These earrings pay tribute to this special relationship. They feature newly hatched monarch caterpillars consuming their first meal. The earrings are hand crafted out of Sterling and the fine silver caterpillars are colored with glass enamels. They measure 3/4" by 1 3/4" not including their handmade Sterling earring wires. They are light and comfortable to wear and are the perfect gift!

Milkweed is the only food source for their caterpillars, so they lay their eggs randomly on the bottoms of the leaves. These earrings pay tribute to the monarch butterfly and this stage of its life cycle. The earrings feature fresh water pearl eggs that have been "laid" on the bottom of milkweed leaves. Texture on the leaves is carefully hammered on. The earrings are hand crafted out of Sterling silver and measure 3/4" wide by 1 3/4" tall, not including the handmade Sterling earring wires. They are light and comfortable to wear, and are the perfect gift!

These earrings pay homage to both phases of the monarch's existence. I make them both out of jeweler's brass and Sterling and carefully hand-color each one, finishing them with jeweler's resin for depth and durability. They measure 7/8" wide x 1" tall, not including the earring wires. They are light and fun to give and to wear.

This Monarch Caterpillar Pin is a tribute to this lovely creature. I make it out of Sterling silver and lacquered jeweler's brass, and carefully hand-paint it, sealing it with a protective coat of resin. It measures 2 1/2" wide by 1 3/4" tall, including the dangling milkweed leaf. It serves as a lovely reminder of the beauty and power of our natural environment.
